The research explores how the current design language contributes to the disposable perception of technological objects. It questions whether an alternative, more empowering, and less minimalist approach could emancipate users. Focused on speculative design, the research proposes a collaborative effort between design and scenography, using a multimodal online narrative. Collective workshops and technical experiments fuel a blog documenting the outcomes. The author, whose previous work questions the political and artistic dimensions of code and intellectual property, aims to broaden their practice by involving ESA 75 and its students in exploring the material infrastructure.
