The aim of this research project is to document, represent, feel and name the post-traumatic time-spaces that follow the near or distant events of sexual assaults on gendered bodies, and to question the sensitive forms likely to be able to address them.
This research will be carried out using the tools and practices of videography, examining the sensitive potential of two conditions, two effects, of this medium: spectrality and projection. This research will unfold through five attentions, five cycles, which outline questions and proposals for aesthetic forms articulated with ethical and
political intentions and possibilities.
Theoretical research into the contexts in which sexual violence is perpetrated on gendered bodies / The recording and collection of accounts from post-traumatic space-time / Practical, interdisciplinary research into the issues involved in addressing these space-time through aesthetic forms / Formal, sensitive research through the practice of visualisation.
