The project consists in developing the ability to improvise Fantasia in the Italian style of the first half of the eighteenth century on a melodic instrument. This involves identifying the precise stylistic framework, imagining and using new technical tools specific to this particular case of improvisation, as well as developing creativity and improvisation skills in general. Research and new artistic skills will be presented in public at concerts, filmed performances and workshops. In a second phase, the project will be documented and methodological tools developed to share the techniques and skills acquired with other "classical" musicians wishing to develop their improvisations.
