Messaline Raverdy studied Philosophy, Literature, Psychoanalysis and Visual Arts in Parisand Brussels (Sorbonne, Paris 7, La Cambre). Her work experiments with different forms of vi-sual media (super8, archives), trying to combine her interests for memory, questions on identitydeconstruction and her love for early cinema. Her first two films, Behind the Shutters (2018) and Stand Out of My Sunlight (2023) have been screened in many festivals (IFFR ROTTERDAM, HOT DOCS TORONTO, DEI POPOLI FLORENCE). In 2024, she got her first retrospective in Chile for the FIC VALDIVIA.
