Sophie Vela is a master student in graphic design at the Fine Arts School of Rennes. Her work, focused on questioning established norms and testimony as a tool for struggle, fluctuates between editorial design, type design, photography and illustration. Since 2020, she has been leading a research on inclusive typography and its legibility issues, especially for dyslexic people, through a thesis and a study with concerned people. She is also one of the founders of the project and collective Les mots de trop, which has been fighting against all types of violence in art schools since 2019 through editorial objects (posters, web, publishing).
