Camille Circlude
Camille Circlude, formerly known as Caroline Dath, freelance graphic designer and teacher at the erg since 2009, has just graduated in September 2022 from the Master of specialisation in gender studies of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation. Their dissertation "Typography as a technology of political post-binarism. A revolution?" is one of the bases of the research to be continued. They has established a first inventory of post-binary typographic practices from 2017 to 2022. Camille founded the graphic design studio Kidnap Your Designer in 2006 which works, among others, with associations active in the LGBTQIA+ milieu (Genres d'à côté, Pink Screens, RainbowHouse, FAME festival, Homografia, ...). The collective practices that they initiates and that transforms them are at the heart of their concerns (We are graphic designers, Trans//Border, Teaching To Transgress Toolbox, Bye Bye Binary...).
