Khristine Gillard

Khristine Gillard is a filmmaker and founding member of LABO Bxl, a shared film workshop based around silver film. She has directed Des Hommes (2008), Miramen (2011), Cochihza (2013) and Eau Vive - Conversation with a Cinematographer (2015). Her projects can also take the form of installations (Le Matin des eaux, Gésir, L'Homme qui marche rend visible le caché, Portée), photographs and other chemical experiments. She created the visuals for the musical project Prairie. Her next feature-length documentary, Tracé, shot in Nicaragua, will be released in 2020. Her documentaries and performances have travelled to numerous international venues and festivals (e.g. MoMA Documentary Fortnight NY, Visions du Réel, Torino Film Festival, Festival d'Amiens, IFFR Rotterdam, TIDF Taiwan, États Généraux du film documentaire Lussas, Punto de Vista, Cinémas différents et expérimentaux de Paris, Festival du Film de Nice, Indie Lisboa, Docville, BOZAR, Théâtre National de Belgique, Botanique, STUK, Centre d'art contemporain Netwerk, Centro Puertas de Castilla de Murcia, etc.).
